This was a kitchen renovation, mudroom addition, open porch addition, and a basement finish.

Challenges: the biggest initial challenge was getting the stair access to the basement. Before, you had to walk around outside to get into the basement. As the project proceeded, the contractor suggested that we dig down in the basement to gain more headroom, which made a huge difference. I think, in the end, the additional expense was worth it.
