Westover
This 1934 beauty was in need of updating, so as a whole house renovation we opened up the new kitchen and added a master bathroom suite.
Challenges: We took the walls back down to the studs to allow for new mechanicals and spray foam insulation. Many properties in Atlanta were built near creeks, and over the years, because of the rightly concerned concern for our waterways, the stream buffer setback was covering the entire house, so the only way to add square footage was to go up. The biggest challenge of this project was to blend the additions to keep the original charm.
